Western men are the best way to scare off local men. But when I'm not hanging with one, I wear a tiny gold band. Not too big to scare the men I'm interested in... but there, ready for me to point to, for the rest. Today, bought a new fake wedding ring... with enough flash -I hope- to stop them before they open their mouth to say: LOCAL GUY: You want boyfriend? Even better... an Indonesian guy staying at my hotel asked me, "Where are you from?" No kidding, very next sentence, "What to come to my room?" Asshole!!
