Ok, maybe no woman, no cry. But no women working, no money. India is on the verge of becoming a developed country. In areas. Thought it was just a matter of village vs. city... but now I'm thoroughly convinced it's more a case that the areas where women have been allowed to work outside the home are the areas that are developing the fastest. And I'd apply that to the whole world. Yes, the Middle East has tons of oil money but those countries are just a house of cards waiting to fall. (And well, Dubai already has.) Not just talking about dual incomes. Places are suppressing half of their knowledge/brainpower. Plus businesses where women work are less corrupt & productive. Can't tell you the number of times seen a row of businesses with a horde of men semi-working & then one place with half the staff, 1 of which is a woman & that place is known as the best in town. And most importantly, there's that certain something... a woman's touch... that elevates a decent service based business into a great business. Tags: India |
